At FWCO, we take great pride in our ability to discover the right answers for those complex problems. We are trained as management consultants, which means that we feel comfortable in providing a wide range of services for our clients including, but not certainly not limited to program evaluation, organizational reviews, strategic plannning, busines planning, sector and regional development studies, marketing strategies, and investment attraction and trade promotion strategies. A brief description of some of these services is provided in the following paragraphs.

Program evaluation involves the systematic collection of information about a program from multiple sources and analysis of data and information collected to understand program effectiveness and impacts, and inform policy and program development. We provide all aspects of program evaluation services to federal, provincial, and local government, non-profit organizations, as well as private sector and associations. Our team have conducted over 300 evaluations in the areas of immigration, social services, health, economic development, First Nations, education, environment, transportation, agriculture, tourism, art and culture and many others. For large majority of those evaluation we have developed program models and logic models, defined evaluation issues and indicators, and developed strong research methodologies that have been successfully applied in conducting large and small scale research projects in time and on budget.

Performance measurement is the process of collecting, analyzing and/or reporting information regarding the performance of an individual, group, organization, system or component. We have extensive experience in helping our clients develop performance measurement frameworks including tacking systems, and tools to collect reliable data and information that effectively assess the organization success in meeting its goals and objectives.

We have helped numerous private and public organizations conduct strategic reviews, develop strategic plans, review their organizational design, promote leadership development, effect change, assess effectiveness and efficiency of their operations, and build teams We have prepared numerous economic development strategies which included working with wide range of key industry representatives from various sectors, conducting in-depth interviews, undertaking large scale surveys, and developing analytical tools.

Cluster Analysis is an approach to data analysis which divides data into meaningful groups or clusters. Our clients collect large amounts of information on their services, target groups, past and current customers, etc. Clustering is a useful technique that we have used in numerous studies to segment target population into a small number of groups to better understand the impact of programming or services on diverse population, or to conduct additional analysis and marketing activities.

We have conducted market research studies and developed marketing strategies for wide range of industries including food processing, agriculture, biotechnology, art and culture and many others.

Our approach to helping clients develop investment attraction strategies included research into targeted sectors, strategic planning and SWOT analysis, risk management frameworks, asset management and other resource management strategies.
